Nyerimilang Heritage Park is the jewel in East Gippsland’s crown. Set in 180 hectares, here you will discover a historic homestead surrounded by beautiful gardens, lawns, picnic areas and bush walking tracks. Enjoy magnificent views from a cliff top above the Gippsland Lakes and a rich variety of wildlife.
Browse through our website pages to find detailed information about the history of this heritage listed park, things to do, upcoming events and a guide which will help visitors identify the plants, native birds and animals you can see around the local area.
This website is maintained by the “Friends of Nyerimilang”, a volunteer community group who have been operating since 1982. In the years since, we have achieved a great deal to keep Nyerimilang Heritage Park one of the major public tourist attractions in East Gippsland under the umbrella of Parks Victoria.
The Friends of Nyermilang operate the Gift Shop and Information Centre at Nyerimilang Park. All monies raised go towards the maintenance of this beautiful park. We always welcome new members to help in the Gift Shop, at events or act as tourists guides. If you are interested to participate, please contact Friends of Nyerimilang on 03 5156 3253.
Coronavirus regulations are in place at Nyerimilang. Please observe the current rules and guidelines.
