Acknowledging the Aboriginal Traditional Owners

Parks Victoria and “Friends of Nyerimilang” acknowledges the Aboriginal people as traditional owners of Victoria, including the native bush and farmland which is now known as Nyerimilang Park.

Through their cultural traditions, the Gunaikurnai maintain their connection to their ancestral lands and waters.

Parks Victoria and the “Friends of Nyerimilang” are dedicated toward preserving the natural bushland and native wildlife for generations to come.
