Trim Greenhood

(Pterostylis concinna)

One of the many species of Pterostylis orchids, often found in large colonies, the trim greenhood needs open forest in which to thrive.

Although their numbers vary from year to year, if you look carefully they can be seen on the Nungurner roadside reserve from May to September.

A ground level plant, they can grow to 15cm tall.
